Beliê: the Alagoas embroidery that captures Brazil in every stitch

Created by Arivânia and Ariane Pita, mother and daughter, Beliê was born in Alagoas, Brazil, from the desire to preserve and reinvent cross-stitch embroidery — a family tradition transformed into a form of contemporary expression.

What began as a collaboration between generations has now become a collective of women artisans, taught and inspired by Ariane and Arivânia, who continue to pass down their manual knowledge with sensitivity and purpose.

Founded in 2017, the brand is based in Barra de São Miguel, on the coast of Alagoas, where the patient gesture of embroidery takes on new forms through experiments with ceramics and wood embroidered with cotton thread.

Each creation combines craftsmanship and design, resulting in pieces that blend tradition, elegance, and Brazilian authenticity.

Inspired by the nature and culture of Brazil’s Northeast — the sea, the sand, the wind, and the patterns of everyday life — Beliê embodies the light and sophisticated spirit of Alagoas’ coastline.

Each piece carries stories, time, and affection in every stitch, celebrating the luxury of what is made with soul and calm.
